Tile

After

During

Before

So tile was a last weekend project but I have neglected to take and post pics. I think initially I was indeiferent about the tile and possibly even may have resented it if possible for causing me to neglect my child and for every ache and pain I was having but after coming home from St. George to a new floor I really like it and it looks so much better.

Sunny St. George

This is what hiking does to you to bad someone wouldn't carry me

So I have noticed a trend from my blogging...we can't get enough of the sun in St. George lucky for us the added bonus is that it is also a great location to spend time outside and with family. Nic and Ky leave next week for Kansas City to sell security systems so Kim was genius and planned a fun family weekend as a "going away party" even better for us is that Matt's jobs had a slight break in the middle of when the one ended and the one began so we took advantage and spent a little more time in the sun. We enjoyed shopping, hiking, eating, games, and just hanging out/relaxing. Can't wait to do it again. Thanks to Kimber for your planning.

Park Days

Hallie and I have been so lucky to have some wonderful friends that we walk with every morning and go to the park every afternoon after naps when we wnet the other day we fed the ducks and then went to the park. It is so nice to have someone other than Hallie to talk to and her and Joshua seem to really like each other.

It has been a really hard decsion and Matt has loved his time and all he has learned at RJP but we feel it is time for something new. We are looking forward to the adventure and the new experiences that this job will entail.

Everyday happenings

This morning we woke up to 10 inches of new snow so I dressed Hallie up and we headed out to shovel the driveway(thats what you get when you put the snowblower away for the winter. She loved watching the cars, people, and snowplows drive by and oh so cooperative so I could finish. What is this snow in APRIL?

We haave finally found a baby food that hallie actually likes and it is so cute all over her face.

So yesterday while transporting laundry I found a new positon for Hallie and what is even better is that she loved it once I started putting the clothes on her she laughed..maybe she thought it was a game.

1st Easter & Conference

The all so important Easter morning pic(not flattering but a must)
So having worked yesterday we decided to celebrate Easter today. Growing up easter was always a fun time we would attend a easter egg hunt, dye eggs, and look forward to an outfit and treats from the easter bunny as well as a picnic at the "easter caves" above our house. We always had a big dinner with all of our extended family but unfortunately we all grew up and everyone moved which makes it not as easy to get together but I will forever be grateful for those memories that were made and now with our own little family we will attempt to also make those memories even if it is just with the 3 of us. We woke up to find a trail of treats to our baskets but after seeing the baskets Matt and I must have not deserved much compared to Hallie who got spoiled(I didn't realized how much we had bought). We also enjoyed conference cakes and some cuddletime on the couch as we watched conference just the 3 of us.

6 month stats

On Thursday we took Hallie for her 6 month checkup. She is now 12lbs 10oz and 26.5 inches long. I thought for sure she would have doubled her birth weight but we aren't quite there yet but we will get there soon enough. Sadly she had to have more shots which is my most unfavorite thing ever. On a brighter note Hallie is getting better at sitting on her own and while waiting for the dr she decided to pose for a pic

6 month pics

So early last week we had planned to do pics for Hallie but of coarse the weather didn't cooperate but we tried a few anyways and I think they turned out pretty well. We are going to give it another shot today and hopefully the sun will cooperate. Thanks Brit The sun cooperated so more cute pics to come
