1st trip out

So we went to the Dr today for a f/u from the hospital. Hallie is doing very well and is currently at 6 lbs 5 oz. She has no jaundice and was given a clean bill of health. She has been a joy to have a round she rarely cries and we wake her up to feed her every four hours at least until she gets a little bigger. She has times when she is very awake and loves to track things going on around her. Today at the Dr I just happen to catch a good pic of her with her daddy while we were waiting for the dr to come.

She is here

She is HERE!!! Hallie Mae 6lbs 8oz and 19.5 inches of her are here and we couldn't be doing better. Saturday we went in at 1PM and she arrived at 5:12PM we were blessed to say the least. She is a little smaller than they would like her to be so we are keeping her extra warm and feeding her a little more to help with her weight gain. We still can't decide who she looks like but are excited for the years that we have to watch her grow and change to decide. Thanks to everyone who has called and visited as well as thise who have brought gifts or offered some advice.

39 weeks

So I promise I will have a new pic soon but until then an update. We went to the Dr today and more good news we are still progressing we are now a 4 and almost 100% effaced our Dr is quite impressed at how we are moving right along but our little one only has one more week to get out before she gets kicked out...yup you heard me right. Next Wednesday we will be 40 weeks and our Dr doesn't like to let mom's go past their due date so we set an induction for that day. So now that this OCD mom has a date things are getting done and we are ready hopefully she is to. Matt is like a kid at Christmas everytime I have a contraction sad to say they never become consistent but now there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The dr seems to think that we should have a pretty good delivery considering how things have gone so far, lets hope she is right.

The yard

So I have been meaning to post this for a long time but have found excuse after excuse not to and no more excuses here it is. We have done alot of work to this little house we live in since we moved in two years ago both inside and out. I am so blessed to have a husband that can figure out how to do and fix anything which we all know saves a ton on $$$ so he is getting most of the credit for this. So outside notice the tons of landscaping, siding, new AC, sandbox and the most recent all new lighting. No one was injured during any of this which is also amazing.

Pics from vacations that seem so long ago

So I finally got ahold of the pics from our family vacation this summer just thinking about it makes me excited for next year and to take our little one along for the ride. So just a recap we spent five days boating and four rafting which is totally my kind of vacation. I love stuff like this because I don't like crowds and I don't have the stomach for amusement parks. This baby has definitely had a fun ride as she has grown. I was able to sleep on an air mattress, raft, ski, kneeboard, jetski and alot of other fun stuff. The great thing in being with family is that once you get together it feels like you have never been apart. I love you guys thanks for your never ending support and a great time.
P.S. Watch for the pic of Matt and Ky in the ducky coming through the rapids(a pic to be proud of for sure)

38 weeks

Well it seems the closer our date gets the more I am able to do things like for instance this weekend we helped to move my grandma from Preston to Tremonton and although I was not allowed to lift alot of heavy things I was at least allowed to help! So my pics for this week are of the one big project that took the majority of our time. MOving my grandpa's 800 pound safe out of the basement to get it into the trailor it took everyone and whether I was allowed because no one was paying attention or because they needed my help I didn't care. We did get it up the stairs after a very long time and some serious engineering.

My so talented family

So never would you guess how talented all your family and friends are until you have a baby. I recieved this darling car seat cover in the mail today from my sister Kim she never ceases to amaze me with all that she gets done on top of going to school full time and running her own business. I can't wait until her and Nic come in October and she is going to teach me to do several of the things she has been working on. Thanks Kimber your the best, can't wait to see you!

37 weeks

So we headed to the Dr today we are dialated to a 2 at zero station and soft and favorable and I heard wonderful words today and I hope they hold true. The Dr said you probably wont make it to your due date!!!! Hooray we are now just waiting. Matt is going to be the cutest dad ever he is so attentive and is now becoming like a kid at Christmas when I have random contractions. I'm pretty sure he is more excited than I am. When he is home and she is awake his hand is practically glued to my stomach and he is constantly trying to guess what part she is beating me with. She is just under six pounds and about 17 inches. I am starting to feel like she is going to come whether we are ready or not.

36 weeks

So I know we are now 37 weeks believe me I am the first to tell someone that is one less week to be pregnant. But this is the pic from 36 weeks. Our little one is doing well and growing just like she should be. We started out weekly checks which gives me hope that there may be an end in site. I am ready to not be pregnant although I'm not sure I know what I'm wishing for. So many people love being pregnant but that is not me.
