Bishop Norr

So I guess the title says it all and probably doesn't need much explaination. And yes you read it correctly my dad is now the bishop of the newly created Cactus ward in the Las Vegas area. We know he will do a great job and how lucky they are to have him. Love you dad

Nate's Court of Honor

Kyle was holding Hallie during the court of honor and found a little tickle spot. It was so cute he would do it and she would laugh and then wait for him to do it again.

Vegas Fun in the Sun

So this weekend was a great one we love getting together with family and actually doing something, luckily everyone is willing to drive and be inconvienced a little to make it all happen. Friday we headed to Las Vegas made a quick stop in St George to feed Hallie and pick up Nic & Kyle Hallie loved having friends to look at in the back seat. The weather is a lot nicer in vegas than it is here need I say more and my parents pool was warm enough that we even got to swim. I love the sun. Haliie loved the water more than even I thought she would it was so cute to watch her start to splash. So we played in the pool and BBQ most of the day Sat.

Summer time...K grandpa she is ready to boat

Well at our house we are very ready for the summer and boating too. I have always loved boating as has Matt. Because of the large age span in my family boating was something that all of us kids no matter the age could enjoy and was reasonable priced. I went boating for the first time when I was five months and I never remember a summer that didn't include time at the beach/lake. Luckily for me Matt enjoys boating just as much and we have decided that we want boating to be an activity that our kids grow up doing so for easter we decided to start buying Hallie so boating gear well it came today and we couldn't wait to try it all on. The sunglasses are so nice because they are soft and velcro on she doesn't seem to mind wearing any of it at least for now. The life jackets are a lot nicer now than what they were when I first wore them and if any one out there is lokking for any kind of stuff like this watch ebay I saved alot of money.

Sippy Cups

So Hallie really likes to try and drink out of a regular cup but usually ends up more than a little wet so hense the sippy cup. Of coarse once she decided to smile she let go. I am actually surprised how well she does with it most of the time she needs help getting the nipple in her mouth and tipping it up and she doesn't always want help but she seems to do really well. She usually has it at meal times when she eats her cereal and we eat our food. I think she just keeps getting funner the older she gets.

Birthdays

So over the last couple of weeks we have been able to celebrate 2 birthdays with the brower fam. First chris and then brit. Monday for brit's birthday we headed to dinner and then had cake and ice cream after. We had a great time and I'm thrilled that Hallie is getting to know both sides of her family better.

Gross have you ever tasted this stuff but they say thats what your supposed to star with so we are Hallie didn't seem to mind it but spent most of her time sucking on her hands and eating her bib, maybe she will be more interested when its real food.

A short trip to St. George

In order for Hallie and I to get home Matt came to St. George and it just so happened that my cousin blessed her baby that sunday so we spent some more time in the sun and on the way home Hallie figured out how to hold her bottle which is quite the accomplishment since she rarely has a bottle. Oh she also rolled from tummy to back on Feb 24.

So for the first week of March Hallie and I got to go and spend sometime withmy family in Las Vegas. It was so nice but we missed Matt terribly. My mom and dad took very good care of us and there were more than enough hands to help me with Hallie. While in vegas hallie did a few things she had never done. She has decided that she loves Nate and would watch him do everything although Nate had to fight maddi to get a chance to hold her. We had a blast and can't wait to go again.
