Just a taste
Singing went much better this time she even smiled and clapped. Matt and I sang to her all morning in hopes she wouldn't cry again..it worked!
Happy birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday dear Hallie happy birthday to you. So this is how it went. Hallie actually seemed to enjoy getting sung to this time. We had a little party with family and friends. Matt cooked us some great dutch oven food and we had a variety of cupcakes with ice cream. I think its safe to say no one left hungry. Hallie picked at her cake mostly the strawberries but she enjoyed some frosting in the process. The sandbox was a kid favorite which allowed the adults time to visit and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Thanks everyone for joining us to celebrate this special time. We had a great time and can't wait for the adventures this next year will bring.

can't believe she is one already! Still remember getting your text last year - apologizing that you couldn't come to my shower because you were in labor! Ha ha, only you would be still thinking of others! Love you guys!
