Our Productive and Family Filled Weekend

With the wonderful weather and conference how could it not have been a wonderful weekend. Conference weekend is my favorite weekends I love to hear the beautiful messages that are shared and I feel like it gives us a chance to refocus and survive for another 6 months. Another reason this is a favorite of mine is all growing up saturday of conference was always used to clean up the yard, which to me is a sure sign of spring. So Saturday that is just what we did. We expanded our garden and got all of our spring seeds planted. As well as Matt built a new section for my new strawberry and raspberry plants. Now gardening is a new adventure for us. In almost all aspects of our life/marriage usually one of us has experience in whatever it is tht we are doing but not gardening so we are figuring out together and trying to make something grow in the process. Im so lucky to have a wonderful husband that is such a mister fix it. We cleaned behind our shed, took a load to the dump, and hauled a load of sand to refill Hallie's sandbox(her favorite place to play) we also got very stuck and rained on while doing this. All while listening to conference, I love productive and uplifting days. Then Sunday has always been great for staying in our pjs, eating conference cakes, and spending time with family. We headed down to Nick & Brits just in time for the 1st session to start. We ate way to many conference cakes probably spent more time talking than listening..thank heavens for dvr.

Possibly my favorite part of Sunday was the snuggle time with little Livy, which I did most of the 1st session.

I think she is looking more and more like Kaylee all the time to me with bits and pieces of carson in her, either way she is a keeper. We had yummy food and dessert..to much of both but thats what happens when you sit around all day. We finished up the day by watching Tangled which if yo uhaven't seen you should it was really cute. By the time we headed for home both of our girls were tired and ready for bed. Hallie was asleep less than five minutes from Nick & Brit's house. What you can't see in this pic is that Missy is tucked in sleeping next to her I think that is one of her favorite places to ride although Hallie is not always willing to share her space.

I love that we have Nick & Brit so close to spend time with family. Hallie loves spending time with family and we can't wait to do it again this week and coming weekend when the whole family is here.
