Pre-Christmas Fun

So before we took off for Christmas we got to spend some time with some of our favorite people....Nick, Brit, Carson, & Kaylee. They came up and we went to dinner and did some light shopping and an art project. Anyways while at dinner Carson got ahold of the camera and actually got some cute pics. Can't wait to do it again.

Christmas come and gone so fast

Christmas changes as we, as people get older, the excitment of getting up seeing what Santa brought diminishes and its easy to get caught up in all the commercilized stress. But then there are time when it is all put into perspective. We were lucky enough to spend christmas in Las Vegas with the entire family including my wonderful grandma and grandpa. But there was something wrong that I am just going to have to get used to. I grew up in the same house my whole life, woke up each Christmas morning to the same place and about a year and a half ago my parents moved to Vegas I would say this has been hard on everyone involved but it would be an understatement. To go home for the holidays for me is to see all the people you grew up with, visit with the neighbors, going to the ward Christmas Eve party, sleeping in the room I grew up in, and if we were lucky enough to have snow sledding behind the 4-wheeler until we couldn't feel our fingers. Well the harsh reality that hit me this year is that life will never be like that again. I go home to a place where I can't find anything, I know no one, and there is no snow. But in that moment when I think of all the things I miss I am reminded of the one true thing that matters regardless of the location the people who love you the most and have been there all along will always be in the place that I call HOME.

Finally a new post

So we hope that this post finds everyone enjoying their holiday season and remembering the true meaning of Christmas. As for Matt and I we are very much enjoying the time Matt has off of school and what better way to do that but by serving others. For those of you who don't know I am a manager at a nursing home and last night Matt and I were given the opportunity to take the residents down to see the lights at Temple Square. The lights were amazing as always but the added spirit of the special residents just made it that much more magical. We are getting excited to see the family for Christmas and now that it has snowed it is making Christmas actually feel real. Matt and I feel very blessed this year to be blessed with of coarse family, friends, and our health, but also two stable jobs that provide for us. We are truely more blessed than we know.

New perspective

So this weekend we were lucky enough to finally spend some time with some of our great friends. At the last minute we decided to go to the military ball at USU in Logan. To be honest it felt like old times getting to get all dressed up and do my hair all fancy reminded me a lot of what dances where like in high school. We met Mindi and Corey for dinner which to spare you the details was less than good.(We ate a blackstone the service and the food sucked big time it was very over priced and quite disappointing to say the least) back to the good part of the story after we went to the ball which was a blast we had so much fun. They had a live band and showed some really good videos. After we got ice cream and then called it a night we are getting old and find ourselves going to bed earlier all the time. As we sat watching the videos earlier in the evening I got a little choked up thinking of all the men who are over sea serving our country. There are few words to describe the gratitude I feel for their service that most of the time goes unrecognized. So thank you to all of the men and women serving this country you are truly an inspiration. Also a big thanks to Corey and Mindi for making it a very memorable night.

Updates

-The mole so the second results came back with their margins clear so we just have to watch it closely and hope for the best. Thanks so much for everyone's love, concern, and prayers matt and I really appriciate it. We are truely blessed with wonderful people in our lives.
-We sold our truck YEAH!!! We have been trying to sell it for a while and now that we did we are one step closer to our dream house. We cant wait especially this time of the year when you need alot of space to get all the family together.
-If anyone is looking for a vaccum I highly recommend a Dyson. We bought one a cople weeks ago after Matt's sister Brit had recommended one and now I wouldn't trade it for anything its pretty gross what lives in your carpet.
-Matt has less than a year left for school and we can't wait we just registered for spring so only one more semester to register for and then we can be done as long as they don't change any of the requirements. Keep your fingers crossed. I'm so proud of Matt and how hard he works he is truely an inspiration to me.
-I am liking my new job and have finally caught up on my sleep I feel a ton better and am alot more laid back than I used to be. Sometimes I don't understand why god has us do things but eventually they manifest themselves.
SO that is about all that is going on not much to write about we are excited to see all the family this month it is always to long.

Scary in a different way

Well as some of you know there has been some unsure things going on in our live lately. The main one started about two weeks ago when I went in for a routine physical. I had some moles that I had concerns about and the doctor ended up having some of the same concerns so he removed them for biopsy reassuring me he thought they were nothing. Seven days later I got a call from the doctors office who informed me that they had sent my samples on to Harvard and the Mayo Clinic because the doctor at McKay Dee was unsure about the results. So of coarse I am slightly worried at this point. Then a week after that, yesterday, I get a call that said that they had my results and they needed me to come into the office as soon as possible. By now panic has set in and I am in tears on the phone with my sweet husband who reassures that everything will be fine. So this morning first thing I get into the doctor only to find that it came back positive/unsure. So they cut another chunk out of my foot and now that will go for another biopsy if it comes back clean it will be over and if not blood tests and more tissue samples. For now I feel like things are going to be fine but I will keep everyone updated.

Weekend Fun

So we were lucky enough to get Nick and Brit to let us have their kids for the night while they went to a Halloween party and had some fun but they weren't the only ones that had some fun. The kids got all dressed up and we went to the dinasaur park for the annual trick or treating with the dinosaurs. They had trick or treating and fun games for the kids. We rotated inside and out to make sure everyone stayed warm. It was a fun filled night. Thanks Nick and Brit for trusting us with your fun and darling kids hopefully they can stay again soon.

Fun Family Weekend

So this last weekend we got to go watch Nic play volleyball in Price and enjoy just having time to spend with everyone. My parents came up from Las Vegas on Friday we left as soon as we got off work and headed that direction to. The first game was friday night. Nic played very well and it was alot of fun to watch. After the game we went to her house and ordered pizza and watched a movie. Can you imagine all of our family squished on two couches trying to watch a movie? It was fun anyways. The next day Kyle made us some BBQ duck that he had shot and to all of our surprize it was very good. Then we headed to Nic's game and watched her light up the game again. I love wathcing her play but it is very bad for my nerves because of coarse we think she should play all of the time no matter what! The weekend went so fast as soon as the game was over mom and dad had to head back home but Matt and I stayed to play longer, which we are really glad we did. Nic and Ky took us to this amazing restaurant, yes thats what I said, an amazing restaurant in price/hooper. Its called Groggs and I highly recommend it if your ever in the area. After we went back and visited, watched movies, and just relaxed. The next morning Ky made breakfast and then we headed for home. I learned new things this weekend and one of the many was what a great cook Ky is and the other is that you always miss the family when you have to go. So we can't wait to get back together again. Thanks for all you hospitality Nic and Ky we love you guys and can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks.

Something New Hooray

--
--On a different note Matt and I have recently joined a gym and have decided there is no better time to get in shape then the present. Also the realization has come that you can't look toned if you don't work at it. Its one thing to be thin and a completely another to be in shape and look it. I am finding that out very quickly. Its fun though they have a pool, sauna, basketball, raquetball, several classes that kick butt, and of coarse tons of other stuff. And get this every treadmill has its own tv! Let me just tell you the Golds Gym in Ogden at the Solomon Center rocks. If anyone is looking for a good gym with a lot of everything for a reasonable price go try it out. So here is my encouragement to all those who usually hide indoors when the weather gets bad try the gym its not as bad as I thought it would be.

Catching up

So I am at work thinking about all the special people in Matt and I's lives. I just want to give a big shout out for all of you who are taking on the task of working AND going to school. School enough is one thing and it is completely another for anyone to also carry a job. I have met various people that have made the commitment and are going to college or have decided to return to college to get that special piece of paper that the world thinks is so important and also support their families ata the same time. So hats off to you for that this includes all of my siblings and their hubbies and especially my sweet husband that manages to work over 40 hours, go to school at night, and still have time to be a wonderful husband. So babes tonight I am up working for us, thinking of you and feeling very blessed to be in the place that we are. Thanks for all you do and I know that one day we will reach all of our goals and I can't wait for the adventure to get there.

The change of seasons!!!

I have been horrible at staying up on blogging lately. My new job has changed alot including how much time I have to play on the internet. Not much has changed. So So a quick update...my new job is going well although alot more responsibility I am learning to love it. It has been hard to still find time to work once and a while at the hospital I feel like I have no time to do what I need to do but I guess thats what happens when you go from working three days to five. I am learning alot about myself and my abilities. I miss my job at the hospital terribly so when Matt goes to school I usually go visit just to hold the babies and help where I can. Matt is halfway through his last hard semester and then he has a couple left of part time status to get both degrees completed. The self battle of when to have kids continues in the Brower home but eventually we will both come to the same conclusion and add to our special family. Matt and I took some pictures this morning of what we woke up to and the snow just keeps getting deeper is it winter already? I know most people hate this idea but I welcome it I love comfort food, warm clothes, and the spirit that is in the air the closer we get to christmas. People just seem to treat each other differently which a much needed change. I can't wait.

Memories and learning from them

A funny thing happened yesterday and it brough back alot of memories for me as a kid. So we have some cute neighbor kids that think that our house is the new place to play(I don't know why we have no toys or anything)well the youngest who is six came over last night just as Matt and I were leaving to go running and asked if he could play we told him we were leaving but when we got back he could come over. He seemed a little bummed but Matt and I left and didn't think a thing of it. On our way back we ran into his sister and she thanked us for the chocolate chips we didn't think much of it til we got home and realized that neither one of us had given him chocolate chips. So after alot of discussion about what we should do we went back over and asked the sister about the chocolate chips like who had them, when did we give them to them, ect. Through this process we found that the little brother had gone into our freezer that was in the garage after we left and got himself a bag of chocolate chips! The sister went to tell the mom and soon after the littlest boy was on our porch with an apology but no chocolate chips! We said that we forgave him and that he needed to not do it again or he couldn't come play. I then told him a story about myself.
When I was in kindergarten a girl brought smarties for the whole class but i wanted more than just one so on break I got into her backpack and took some more smarties and also a small bottle of perfume that she had. I got home and spread my smarties out on my bed and sprayed the perfume. My mom then came in and asked where I had gotten the candy and perfume I, of coarse lied, to not get in trouble. When the truth finally came out my mom loaded me in the car and took me to the girls house I remember crying all the way and throwing a tantrum I'm sure. We pulled in the driveway I had to walk to the door by myself and explain to ther girl and her mom what I had done and give all of it back. I still remember being so embarrased. I concluded my story by saying and thats why we don't take other people's things. Then we went to depart ways the dad said he was a little disappointed that we were so easy on him. I was a little thrown off by this because he isn't my child and Matt and I didn't feel like it was our place to discipline him. Were we wrong? What would you have done? But either way it was a good drive down memory lane to remind me that we ware all human and we have to learn sometime. Thanks mom and dad from making me fix my mistakes so they never happened again.

New Job

Well I have been waiting til I let the correct people know before I make the announcement that I got a new job! Now this may not sound to exciting to most of you but the thought of not having to get up at 3AM anymore thrills me more than most things in this life. So what is this new job you ask? Well it is a manager position at a nursing home/rehabilitation center near our house and even closer to where the new house will be. I start Sept 22, my official title is the manager of the long term wing. I will be responsible for many things that I am unsure of at this point. I will now be working Mon-Fri for the most part, no holidays, weekend, I work "normal" human hours 9-3 at least and more to get my work done. Best of all it is salaried and I got a large raise. This will put kids on the back burner for yet another while due to the fact that they ask for a two year commitment but hey that two years give us a chance to travel, pay off land, and hopefully build the dream house before the expensive kids arrive. Matt and I are thrilled about the thought of having normal sleep schedules and not being tired and grumpy all of the time. I know this isn't the most exciting news of all but it's life.

Moments where patience is a virtue

Well so Thursday after working 13 hours I got to my car took a minute to relax and decided I needed to go to the Smith's case lot sale while I had the energy. I backed out of the stale and headed for the exit as I was driving down the path a heard a low crunch and turned around to see a young girl back into my new car! Needless to say I was very unhappy, I got out just as she did and then what she said surprised me, "Was that my bad?" I held my composure and told her yes that I had the right of way and then headed to see the damage on the side of the car. The large dent started half way down my passenger side door to the wheel well on the back of the car. I of coarse called the cops and security at the hospital who responded promptly probably the highlight of the securities day and the low of the police officers. I then found out the girl was 18 and had only been driving 1 year. Then a witness to the accident confirmed that she had hit the gas just in time to crunch my passenger side. She still thought it was my fault go figure. So now the insurance company will figure it out but patience is definitely a virtue and one that I lack most of the time.

Las Vegas and the fam

So over Labor Day Matt and I were able to fly down and spend some time with my family which was much needed we haven't been to vegas since march because of work and school schedules so needless to say I was super excited. We shopped, boated, bbq'd, and just relaxed. My parents have a beautiful home with an awesome pool that we put to good use. Kim and Ez were nice enough to make time in their busy scheduales to come hang out with us although I got no pics sorry. We missed nic and her honey but we will see you soon. One day we went boating to Lake Mead we had tons of fun we have missed that alot. Matt, Nate and Madi had a competition to see who could stand on the tube the longest it was entertaining to say the least. Thanks mom and dad for all of you hospitality while we were there and your love always. Although vegas may never feel like home I have found that no matter where what the location that home is where all the people you love are. We were so sad to leave and can't wait to go back.

Happy 2nd Anniversary to US!!!!

So from the title you can assume that over the past weekend Matt and I celebrated our 2nd Anniversary. Although the time married is just a number we always add it to another year that we have been best friends which if you were wondering is 12 years since we first met, 9 years since our first date, and 7 years since our first kiss. These are the numbers that are alot more amazing to us as we look back over time. Well back to the weekend it was alot of fun we went to Lagoon on Friday then headed to Park City to stay in our aunt and uncle's condo(a big thanks for that). All weekend Matt spoiled me with surprised and hot breakfast which he is fantastic at. Saturday we headed to Salt Lake to meet my sister Kim and her hubby(Ezra) for lunch. Then we went back for some shopping. Sunday we just relaxed, enjoyed a 4 hour nap and watched the olympics and enjoyed having nothing to do. Then Monday(our actual anniversary)we were lucky enough to spend with Nick, Brit, and their cute kids. We ate dinner and then headed to the Bees game it was so much fun its hard to explain. Then we headed home exhausted and now back to real life. But in this post I would like to take a second and thanks everyone that has helped Matt and I get to this point in our lives. Just to name one of the many I think that Nick & Brit have been our biggest fans and we are forever in their debt for countless meals, letting us steal their kids to practice, and putting up with us for hours at a time I don't know that we will ever be able to find a way to repay them or the words to describe how much we appriciate and look up to them. Thanks guys we love you all!
P.S. Enjoy the pics

Daddy's little girl

I have been sick alot lately, and NO I am not pregnant, for some reason or another my body has had a hard time fighting off whatever it is dealing with. Matt and I had just gotten into bed after ten and I was feeling so yucky. Matt, being the sweet husband he is, felt helpless and horrible that he couldn't do anything to help. I started to cry and it just got worse from there. Matt asked what was wrong and I told him through broken sobs that I wanted my dad. For any of you who know my dad you know what an amazing and remarkable father and person he is. I have always been a daddy's girl, when I was little my dad would leave for work and I would cry for for hours sometimes until he would come home to save my mom's sanity. He ,to this day, stops all my doubts, destroy all my fears and give some of the best advice of anyone I know. That night I finally fell asleep feeling silly for wanting to call my dad in the middle of the night. The next morning I recieved a phone call from my dad who said he felt like he needed to call me I once again broke down into tear as I expressed my feelings from the night before and how silly I felt. What can I say once a daddy's girls always a daddy's girl. Although I know my dad will never read this post. I can never say enough for how much he mean to me or repay him for the way he has influenced my life. Thanks dad for all you do and for teaching me to be the best I can.

Exciting Time

So for all of you who don't know Matt and I have had our eye on some land for over a month now and finally got the guts to put in an offer. I haven't been this excited in a long time..sad I know. Well it is in Uintah just north at the base of the canyon to Morgan and just south of South Weber. It is just under and acre and in what appears to be a very nice neighborhood with established families oh not to mention the view is amazing no one can buid in from of or behind us. I have picked out a house plan that I love but we will see how that ends up after we make some adjustments. We wont build until Matt is done with school and well settled into his job so about 2.5 years or so. But I just had to share we are so excited.

My Wonderful Husband

Well I guess as the title explains this is one of those posts where I just need to get some things off my chest that make me grateful for my husband. And yes that is him in the pic. Recently our best friends informed us they were filing for divorce. We hang out with this couple on a weekly basis and enjoy spending time with both of them. Questions include why and what happened to take the final straw? Also along with the confusing and sadness comes the joy of having an eternal companion that loves me and I love him more than life itself. Matt and I have talked about how our long time friendship has helped our marriage significantly. As we sat in the temple that day I remember how scared and unsure I was but the reassuring look in Matt's eyes made everything ok. Our marriage is not perfect but we are working on it everyday. At moments of doubt I am reminded of the look that Matt had on his face that day in the temple when we took that huge commitment upon ourselves one of peace and reassurance. Mom #2, Brit, Tiff, and Ris I can't thank you enough for the man you have helped to shape my husband into. I guess my hope for this post will be that regardless of the faults you find in your special someone to always focus on their strengths and what made you fall in love with them in the first place.

Wedding pics

So I ahve been super slacking with talking about Kyle and Nic's wedding. I am still waiting for most of the pictures. So everything went extremely well and they seem like they will be so happy together. They were married in the Logan temple followed by a luncheon at the Alumni house at USU and ended with a beautiful reception in the large city of Deweyville. We couldn't have asked for better weather and we loved having the whole family together again we got spoiled in June two whole weeks of family togetherness! So watch for more pics to come but this is a cute family pic we took at the luncheon. My dad put it best when he said to us thanks for picking guys that we love like sons to complete our eternal family. Congrates guys we love you and Kyle couldn't fit in any better. The family is getting so big but my mom has threatened to kill Nate if he gets married any time soon. Aren't we cute!

Lake Powell...the best vacation ever

So here is the long awaited pics and such from Lake Powell. It was everything we expected and more to bad it only happens once a summer. We were there for four days and all got slightly toasted some more brown than red. We camped on the beach and each day went to explore a different area along the way tubing and skiing when the water was just right. We had beautiful weather and the company was top notch. No fighting or complaining and enough relaxing for everyone. You couldn't have picked three boys to get along better than the ones we married. Thanks mom and dad for the best vacation this year(I only say that because next year will be just as great). We know how much planning and effort goes into a trip like this. We can't wait to go back.

SOOOO EXCITED

K so I have been waiting for the last three years for this and its finally here. We are leaving for Lake Powell tomorrow. It has been my favorite place in the world since I was a little girl. We used to go every summer with wonderful friend where we played til we couldn't anymore and relaxed to our hearts content. With weddings the last couple of summers it has made the trip impossible but this year we decided that we just needed to go. SO this week is lake powell and next week nic's wedding. It is the first time that all the son-in-laws have been to lake powell and it will be one to remember. I can't wait I have to go pack so stay tuned for the awesome details.

New Puppy

So this weekend we decided to get a puppy. After much discussion Matt stated that he thought it would help him become more ready to have a baby..whether or not I believe that is another thing but anything that might help is worth a try, right? Her name is Sadi she is a registered black lab and someday she would be good to breed if we decide that is another endeavor we want to try. She is very smart and after a couple of days is pretty good at the potty training. She only wines when she needs to go out and right before she goes outside for bed. We are going to be taking her to some classes to help us train her to speak, sit, shake, and other fun obedience stuff. We will continue to post pics as she grows. The second pic he is sleeping I promise. Come on Brit you have to admit that he is really cute.

The new grill

So this weekend I finally caved and we bought Matt a new grill. He was so thrilled we spent a couple hours comparing and choosing his favorite one because of that he had to do homework so I put it together with a few helps from Matt. Then we got to spend some time with Nick and Brit which we always enjoy and can't get enough of. So many busy weekends...a moment away

So Matt and I decided with spring semester over and summer starting this week that we needed a couple nights away. We decided to go to Logan to the Anniversary Inn because it is our favorite we always stay in a new room and this room was amazing we may just stay in it next time. Matt was so funny if he knew I was posting this he would kill me but he never reads it so I think I'm safe. The room is called Joanie's Diner and has a 1950's theme with jukebox and all. They bought a third home and added new rooms you should check them out. But anyways after our couple nights away and relaxing we headed to boise to see our new neice blessed. We had a great time with the fam and hopefully in due time we will have a little one to bless ourselves.

The fam and the new editions

So this weekend was also a rare chance for a family pic. Unfortunately Nic'c man was off playin baseball so he missed out but here we all our I can't believe how quickly our size has increased but I guess with an amazing family like I have and cute for that matter it was bound to happen. Mom and dad are still surviving Vegas and are actually enjoying it the kids are trying to make mom computer literate so she will start her own blog but we will see. She also got a dog which will quickly become part of the family. My dad is amazing as always loving his job and less yard work. Kim and Ez are just enjoying finishing school for the semester and starting to do the touch ups on their new condo they bought a couple of months ago. Nic and Kyle(the soon to be Grahams) have found an apartment kyle will live there til they get married and nic will live in vegas and try to earn some money before becoming newlywed poor. Kyle finishes baseball this week and nic will play volleyball this fall to keep her scholarship. Nate is getting more boy like everyday while he plays baseball and is doing very well at the piano. Maddi just got baptized and is starting to care about having her hair done and wearing the right clothes. Watch out mom and dad she may just give you a run for your money. As for Matt and I Matt will be returing to school May 13 for the summer with 21 credits in hopes of finishing next spring so we can start our family adopted, foster, or otherwise. Matt will continue t amaze me and work over forty hours and week and still have time for his sweetheart. He is my hero. I will continue to work with the babies I love and looking for a job with better hours.

Maddi is 8!!!

Well as this weekend went Maddi was able to get baptized it was alot of fun to have the family together I think I took it for granted when we lived so close. We are so proud of you Maddi and the choice you made to be baptized.

Graduation

Well so graduation came and went without anything horrible occuring it was a very busy weekend with the wedding shower and maddi being baptized(more to come with that) I have mixed feelings about graduating like what now and I am definitely old. I graduated with my bachelors in Science/nursing and a minor in finance. Thanks for all of my family that made the trip. I looked up just before the ceremony started to see some of the people I love the most and that made it that much more special. My wonderful husband has been so supportive and brought beautiful flowers to surprise me with. Thanks honey I love you more than anything in this world! But anyways pics speak louder than words so here it goes.

Life isn't so bad

Hello friends,

Well first off thanks for all of your advice and help with my silly fear. I am doing much better and although I am not completely free of the anxiety I feel like I am beginning to understand that many things in life are alot more important than how much you weigh and what size you wear. So this last week I have really struggled we have had some babies at the hospital that are ready to go home but their parents are less than adequate to care for them. Drugs, age, priorities, and other such stuff has clouded their judgement and I have been left to question whether or not god really exists and if he does why he doesn't protect the innocent little spirits that he send on a daily occurance. I found this story today that I think you should read.

Well Just a few thoughts that I may expand on sometime in the near future
-The yard and the evenful weekend
So Matt brought the tractor home this weekend and we ripped out all of the bushes and trees that needed to go all we have to do now is put it all back together.
-Blessings of good jobs and being somewhat financially stable
When we remodeled we put in a high efficiency furnace and sold our old one a family came that their furnace had gone out the pervious day and they had spent the night without heat they had been looking for one but couldn't afford anything then they found us and a furnace. It had been a cold night and the mom told us about how they all cuddled together to stay warm it broke my heart. At times like these I realized how blessed Matt and I are to own a home, reliable cars, fantastic jobs, and to have very minimal debt.
-Finals and upcoming gradation
So I graduate on Fri May 2 and I am thrilled I am bored already and getting a part time second job while my amazing husband hangs in there and goes to school all summer.
-Crazy Summer
Well so nic is getting so fri may 2 only hours after graduation I am throwing her a shower and only twelve hours after that my youngest sister maddi will be baptized. Oh how life changes so quickly. This summer will be fun the family decided that even with nic's wedding the lake powell trip will still happen and the week before the wedding I think it will be fun.

stupid fears

So I have a big problem that I worry about alot more than I should ever worry about something this stupid. Ever since I can remembered I have been concerned about my weight and for most of that time I had nothing to worry about. My biggest fear is being over weight I weigh myself sometimes everyday when I am at my worst. I have been trying to correct this problem especially lately now that we have been talking about starting a family. I am ashamed to say I have actually put it off because of this fear. I start to think about all the weigh I will gain and it makes me physically ill which is so shallow. See this is the problem though I have a skinny family and comments were alwas made when I was growing up about the heavier people we would see or pass on the street. As I am now dealing with these same feelings I think about how I want my kids to grow up viewing people of different sizes as well as themselves. I almost look at heavy set girls that carry themselves with confidence with jealousy because I can gain a pound and want to hide in sweats and a hoodie for the rest of my life. I try to buy figure fitting clothes so that certain people in my life don't make comments about my weigh or think that I have gained weight. I don't want my kids especially my girls growing up afraid to live life to its fullest no matter what their size just as long as they are healthy. This sounds stupid but I am hoping by admitting that I have a problem will help me to get over this. Thanks for listening and if you have any advice I'm listening.

Wedding Bells

Well so for the last little while there has been rumors of a wedding and now it is official!!! Kyle asked last night and of coarse she said, "YES". He will be a wonderful edition to our family. My mom, Nic's best friend and I were able to go look at dresses yesterday and she found one she loves. The pic is one very similar to the one she bought. They had to resize the dress she bought because she is so tiny! If anyone is looking for a dress wedding/prom/formal I would highly recommend Belle Bridal in Logan it will be well worth the drive and the prices are awesome.

The Basement Part 1

Well I am going to be posting pictures of our newly remodeled basement one piece at a time. We are still finishing things here and there and we are now realizing when you double your house size to 2500 feet it is alot of work. But my wonderful husband has done an amazing job and I have never seen someone work so hard when they go to school full time and also carry a full time job he is truely my hero. Well this is the family room for those of you who don't know we bought a house is South Ogden and we gutted the basement to the cement walls so it has been a job. Hope you enjoy the pics.
